There were a couple of other parts that I wanted to get for my wife's MT09 which will help protect the bike if there is any accident. These are what I decided to get and the added bonus os that not only will they protect the swingarm but you use them to lift the rear wheel with a paddock stand. Dual purpose which is brilliant.I found the correct part numbers by checking R&G website and adding the model of bike. Very pelased to see that Webike also stock them, so purchased them from here instead.The price is roughly what I could get them for locally but I can count of Webike delivering my items on time and without a hitch. The shipping method I chose this time was EMS fast service. It was a very good price as I also had a few other parts in my basket and this cut the shipping down than just buying one or two parts.Everything arrived with me in 5 days. The outer box was sealed and the littel bit of empty space inside the box was filled with buble wrap. All my parts, even the samller ones arrived in perfect condition. The cotton reels came in their own box which was nice and touch so there would be no damage. They have a really smoothed out thread on the bolts which went in smoothly, not notchy or sharp edged. They attach to the mounting points on the swingarm with no issue. The cotton reels themselves are made from a special nylon I believe, don't quote me on that though but they are very similar to the others I have purchased. I tried them with my standard paddock stand and they are a perfect fit, no wobble like some other cotton reels so a very good product all around. Very pleased with the result. I used it for MT-09SP. The compatibility with JTrip is not bad.
I don't know how it will work with other STANDs.
Yamaha for some reason is thin on the M6, so you shouldn't raise it up and straddle it with maintenanceSTAND because of the strength concerns.

I installed these on my ZX-6R (2012) which I use only for circuit driving. I installed it as a contingency plan, but once during a run, the front of the bike slipped on the Left Corner and the bike tipped over in a matter of seconds. The Offset Slider was scraped off, but the Swing Arm was intact and protected me well. The Bolt that was attached to the Swing Arm did not break either.
I have installed them in various parts of my ZX-6R as a precautionary measure, but considering the direct damage to the component parts after a situation occurs, I felt that the cost-effectiveness was extremely large. I am very glad I installed it. I highly recommend it.

I used to use Anodized Finishing, but the color faded and peeled off, so I decided to use Material:I chose Plastic. The color does not fade, does not peel, and is offset, so when you hang a hook on it, the hook is less likely to hit the frame, so it is less likely to get scratched.
I have been using it for years and it has lasted a long time.
Scratches will be applied, but Material:Plastic, so it remains in Black color.
