It never occurred to me that Delta's Heat Guard could not be installed on Delta's Silencer!
The Band that stops the Heat Guard is too short to wrap around the Silencer Pipe. If you move it to a position where it can be wound, it will hit the Tandem Footpeg and the GuardBody will not be attached. Then, if you remove the Tandem Footpeg, install the Guard, and then try to install the Tandem Footpeg, the Tandem Footpeg will not attach.
I can't believe it's really from the same Manufacturer. And this price. Amazing.
