OEM's V Trucks ended at 8,000 km, so I exchanged for this Tire. This report includes durability results this time.
Since the purpose of use is commuting Main, sometimes Touring, we selected the following conditions for Tire selection.
- Dry, Wet I want all-round performance which is not outstanding performance.
- Cost performance has never been better.
- I hope the exchange time is as long as possible.
After two and a half, I was able to use 14,000 km. Amazingly, just before the exchange, both Front and Rear left 6 mountain piles and SlipSign did not go out. The direct factor of exchange is SIDE part Ozone Crack (Crack crack). At the beginning, a small Crack is seen Large big expands and I was forced to exchange. Without Ozone Crack, I think that the life span has extended further.
Performance
Anyway, commuting was completely no problem, there was no strange Habit and it was a very honest impression. Wet ran as far as countless, but draining well, unexpected slippage and running in the rain could run with confidence. Although I did not do so much as to use so-called SIDE to attack the pass, I did not do so much, but sudden Slip was hardly felt, so the performance of Dry grip was unexpectedly impressive.
■ Notes
Decrease slow = Since it is a hard Tire, I pick up the Gap on the road well, hardly changes even if the air pressure is lowered. Depending on the type of car you may feel that the ride is bad.
Anyway Cost performance is preeminent. Middle to medium class Motorcycle, commuting, Touring, Sportsetc. It was a really good Tire I want to Recommendation to Rider running in various places.
Wet surface and tire life have not been fully evaluated yet, but as for Grip, I feel that it has become more expensive because it is the successor to 01.View Detail
I can't complain about Bias tires, I don't need anything else.
If I may say so, the SIDE is very hard, so you need to be prepared if you change it by yourself.View Detail
YZF-R15 (MODEL in 2012) Used for
I chose this product along with the Front after much consideration as there are not many tire options available for motorcycles.
The deciding factor in the purchase
I decided to buy this tire because it was used by a previous owner and it was in stock.
It is one size up for the YZF-R15, but I chose this product because the Michelin PilotSTREET2 I was going to buy was not in stock.
[Impressions of using it]
As I wrote in the impression of Front tire, it is the tire which I used so far, but I think that it is excellent in Performance for cheap.
The Rear tire was particularly trapezoidal on the commuter issue, so the new one made Cornering a pleasure.
As for Life, I think they are pretty good. I've been wearing them since I bought them, so I don't know how much running I've done before, but I think they're pretty good because they don't wear down at all.
I found a crack in the tire that I had been using, so I decided to replace it even though there was still a groove left.
Products compared
OEMSize of YZF-R15's Rear tire is 130/70-17, so I was comparing with that Size.
Once I decided to use PilotSTREET2, I chose this product because it was not in stock.
【Review】
It's a long life tire with moderate cornering for a low price.
It's great for long distance riders and commuter Mainers.
I purchased the Tire at the end of June 2021 and received a relatively new Tire manufactured 20 weeks into 2021.View Detail
Commuting. It is OK even if it is a long ride home on the way.The impression of running 1000km.View Detail
I changed out of the OEM installed eHabit Dora.
These are my impressions after I replaced it and drove about 30km.
Grip doesn't feel any slippery atmosphere in the way I ride.
Maybe it's because it's new to tuck in, but the Front is light.
The Rear is a bit mild.View Detail
