I got it last night and wanted to go touring, but I was more interested in replacing the exhaust system It's a priority... Large strange to remove NORMAL and Net, but Under Cowl's Slacken the mounting (Large sturdy without removing it) and remove the Engine side Flange Just relax the exhaust pipe and pull the Normal muffler down while rocking it back and forth It's off It's quite heavy Be careful not to pinch your hand Just follow the installation instructions to put it on and you're good to go! My exhaust system is Stainless Steel, not Titanium So it's pretty heavy, though not as heavy as NORMAL! I chose Stainless because of the price, and I thought Stainless's sound was better Yes I went for a run with the Baffle on, and it has a nice crisp sound that is unique to Single ! I took the Bopple off when I got home and it sounds great I haven't run it, so I don't know if it's scuffed up underneath or not yet, but I'll post how it feels again in my diary
I've been riding motorcycles for almost 40 years and have done most of my own customizing. I have as many tools as any motorcycle shop. Exhaust sounds incredible! Makes a single cylinder bike sound more reminiscent of my L Twin Ducati. Deep and throaty once Db killer was removed, pretty quiet with it in. Fitment was close however the exhaust flange needed tweaking. Had to enlarge the bolt holes and elongate them to slide over the header bolts. Nothing a sharp drill bit and a dremel couldn\'t fix. The flange that sits in the head needed some minor grinding as well. The weld was quality, but left the opening rather narrow. I give the exhaust a 5 out of 5 though as I\'m really impressed with it and minor fixes to me are no big deal! Would highly recommend to someone wanting a deep throaty note instead of loud and annoying.View Detail
