My brother and I bought a used KATANA and the tires were slippery. I chose this tire on the recommendation of my brother. This tire is strange, there is no cut or habit in handling, but it lays down to the full bank very quickly, and the same goes for the rear. But it's not scary.
[How is it used?
The NORMALDUNLOP GPR300 on my Z900RS was getting old, so I decided to replace it with POWER 5, which had a good reputation in Touring use from street driving.
How was your experience with it?
The first thing I felt when I switched to the new shoes was a Netri feeling as if they were absorbing the road surface.
Tire center is high and easy to bank as a colo.
The steering angle is firm at intersections and corners, and the Netri-Slip feel allows me to make turns with confidence.
How did it compare to other products?
Although the NORMAL DUNLOP GPR300 was getting old, it has been a long time since I have had a Tire that I could tell the goodness of the moment I switched to it.
[Points to note]
Michelin's Brand New Tire is said to be more Waxed and slippery than other Manufacturers. So, I was told to be careful.View Detail

Why did you choose this product?
The tires we had on the vehicle were getting old, so we were considering replacing them.
Last year, I was running Metzler M9RRs on my regular car, but I was not satisfied with the lack of grip when running at a good pace in the Winding or on the Circuit, so this time I chose the Power5s, which have good reviews.
Impressions after using it
This was my first Michelin tire in my life, and I was very surprised at how light and soft it was.
I did the assembly myself, and the softness felt similar to that of installing a spacol.
The information from the front tire has a moist impression, and while the feeling of uneasiness is abolished, the changes in the road surface can be sensed through the handlebar, which is an exquisite feeling.
I felt that it was a high level of perfection for a street tire as long as you don't force it while banking or breaking.
I haven't tried Circuit driving, so I'd like to test its marginal performance when I get a chance.
▼ Attention
Note that installation of the tire requires specialized knowledge.View Detail
I've used the PilotPower2CT, PilotPower3, PowerRS, and all of Michelin's sports-oriented tires in the past.
I personally like Michelin tires because they tend to be light in handling, resistant to rain and relatively long lasting.
And this time, I had the good fortune to purchase Power5.
I asked the Motorcycle store to install it, but when I lifted it to take it to the store, it was so light! I was a little surprised.
And it's soft. It's like the old Power pure.
The Michelin Tire, which is lighter to roll down, may be due to the weight or the softness of the Tire itself.
On the way home with it actually installed, the Motorcycle tried to sleep more than expected. (But you'll get used to it.)
The Pattern makes it look like it is susceptible to rain, but I have used it on rainy days in the winter and there is no problem at all.
This is another example of the evolution of technology. The grooves are short but well thought out. By the way, even if you open the throttle roughly on a rainy road, the traction is applied well.
I can't say for sure because I can't test the most large grips on public roads, but I don't think there will be any problems with this for sports driving on the Circuit. I think this is the right tire for those who want to enjoy a wide range of driving, from city driving to highway driving to Circuit driving events.
Also, I've always thought that Michelin's Tire looks thinner.View Detail
It is designed to be used only on the street, and it absorbs the shock when overcoming bumps, etc. in addition to the sense of security by the grip force, and the ride became comfortable. I think that the taste is divided, but I personally liked the impression that the Handlebar of the front cut in afterwards when I banked a little. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing.View Detail
I chose the latest Michelin Tire for my Strada 800.
■ Design
The design of the side wall is VELVET125 style.
Dry grip
I used it for high speed touring in the middle of winter, and it is a necessary and sufficient grip. It does not have a particularly floppy grip feeling, but it bends moderately, and I had the impression that it had both a grip feeling and a light feeling.
Wet grip
It's not the same level as Dry grip, but it's good enough. I can't say the same level as Dry grip, but if you want the same grip feeling as Dry grip, you can choose PilotRoad5.
General Comment
This is a Balance type Tire and can be recommended for those who ride mostly on the streets but want to have fun and drive at a high pace on the mountain passes. If you have been using PowerRS Power5. Or "Power GP. You may be wondering if it's a good idea to have a personal "Power GP. I think so.View Detail
