My Shift Rubber was falling apart and I was going to buy an OEM one, but I liked the look of this one. Installation is noBrown painBrown easy. Looks good and Large satisfied.
Since a pure shift was not pleasing, this product was purchased. Attachment is also very easy and appearance is also individually satisfied with pure one which is said farther of attachment. However, when raising a shift, since it was a rubber if pure, it did not think it is hard and painful, but since this product is not a rubber, it may feel hardness and painfulness a little.View Detail
The OEM Parts were changed because the toes were hurting in any way. I don't have any other vehicles like that. It may just be incompatible with the OEM Parts for this vehicle.
Since there is an Instruction Manual, installation was completed without any problems. There are 4 Screws on the PegBody. Roll up the Rubber on the PegBody (just a little stiff) and loosen the Screw. Even though you won't know if you install it. The inside of the Peg was lightly rusted, so rust prevention treatment was performed. Adjust the position of the attached collar so that it can be fixed with Screw, and then put Peg in it. Tighten the screws evenly etc. to fix the PegBody.
A bit of a hassle to remove OEMParts. As intended, the burden on the toes during GEAR operation is drastically reduced.View Detail
Yamaha Bolt R-spec FootBrake, Rubber at the end of Shift Pedal (BilletRubber) was worn out and we were considering Rubber replacement.
On the other hand, although there are individual differences in Riding Position, in my case, I have been consciously turning my toes inward repeatedly, especially when Breaking, in order to avoid swinging Shift and missing Foot Brake from the Bolt riding position where the toes turn outward a little. I have been consciously turning my toes inward especially when Breaking to avoid swinging my toes outward a little and stepping on FootBrake. If only the Peg Billet were a little longer..." And
So, replacing the Rubber is costly, so HURRICANE Peg Billet (Communal to Brake/Shift) Then I bought two, thinking that both Brake and Shift might be mounted Offset slightly to the outside.
It may be a little hard to see in the picture, but both Shift and Brake can be installed with this product slightly offset to the outside. (This product, because it is a Type to be covered) The footbrake was longer on the right foot and longer on the outside, so that the thumb of the right foot lightly touched the tip of the FootBrake during the ride.
Installation was easy for both Shift and Brake, Remove NORMAL Rubber (It was much deformed, so I cut it off with a Cutter Knife.) Temporarily fix the two gold base pieces on the receiving side to the rubber part with masking tape or thin tape. Loosen the four screws with the attached Hexagonal Wrench, cover with this product, and tighten the four screws evenly.
