Installed in the hope of preventing dust and moisture from entering the Clutch Cable.
[How is it used? I've been using it for about 6 years, including before the diversion (but not during storage).
Was the one you received as per Image? (Omitted because I appropriated the one used in the Motorcycle I used to ride)
How was your experience with it? The 400X did not have a Dust cover on the Clutch Cable. When I was thinking what to do, I thought that I could use the dust cover of SUZUKIOEM Parts which I kept. I actually installed it and it just fit to 400X (^_^) It does not interfere with the hand guard and I have been using it for over 5 years without any problems. I'm glad I installed it because it also covers the base of the Clutch lever. I think it is preventing dust and moisture etc. from entering the Clutch Cable (Quantity):(See the photo posted in 1pc. eyes) These parts have been stored in a tool box for almost 20 years, but they are still in use without any deterioration etc. The overall rating is 5 stars, including the self-satisfaction (^_^;) that I was able to divert OEM parts of another manufacturer that were sleeping.
Was the installation difficult? If you are a do-it-yourself maintenance person, the installation is not so difficult.
What is the point or hang of the installation? Remove the retrofit hand guard (https://www.webike.net/sd/24163393/) beforehand. Remove the Clutch lever and Clutch Cable, and pass the Cable through the Dust cover. After that, install the Clutch Cable and Clutch lever as before. By the way, I replaced the Clutch lever with a SPEEDRA one (https://www.webike.net/sd/21650337/) from OEM at this time (see the second posted photo). After adjusting the play of the clutch lever, put the Dust cover over the base of the lever.

[Others] The OEM Parts (part number:57341-40003) that is the subject of this impression is the successor to the OEM Parts (part number:57341-40001, the part number is confirmed in the old Parts catalog (see the third posted image)) that is actually installed. It is not clear if only the part number was changed or the actual content of the part was changed... Webike have a lot of help tools available so you can find the correct part pretty easily to add an OEM Kawasaki Clutch Lever to the GSX-R1000. Correct part number found and added to my basket. I generally have more item in my basket ready to order and this was another that was added. I do like to order more than one part at a time as this cuts down the shipping if I was to order items individually. The courier I chose was EMS fast service. They do what they say and get your order to you very fast. No really sure if I have ever had an order delivered by this service that has been any longer than 5 days. This arrived at my door in 5 days as expected. This makes me happy and also my customers and friends happy too. The order was all packed really well as always from Webike warehouse staff. The outer box was sealed with tape so nothing could be lost whiclst in transit. The inner of the box was all neatly packed and filled with additional bubble wrap. Everything was nice and snug but not too tight to damage anything. All the parts and even some of the small parts arrived with me in 100% perfect condition. The lever is a lovely colur black, but not glossy balck, more like a satin. The finishing is perfect, no sharp parts and all the the groove where the cable sits in is also very well machined out. The clutch fitment tab is noce and smoothly finished. Even the bolt hole is very well machined. What's not to love. All fitted in super quick time and this meant my friend could get back out on his bike in just a week from the accident. Very happy with purchase. Due to a small off this got damaged, do not ask me how that happened as it has never happened before even with bigger offs. Anyway, I found the part by using the Suzuki schematic which you can find on the internet. The cost was very good indeed and better than I have seen locally. Along with other item in this order the shipping was very cheap. I had a lot of small items in this order!.From ordering to the actual delivery to my door took just over a week. Brilliant.The finish of the switch looks great but you can only tell if it's good until after fitted and trying. Took literally minutes to fit. Familiar feel and very easy to handle. However, when the brake is set to "hard brake," the rate of increase in braking force relative to the input seems to decrease, and the brake becomes more forceful. Radipon (Reserve separate body portrait master) Impressions of It was totally different from what I expected, my expectation was that it would feel like a Rear brake… It is really a mild and easy-to-handle radipon. On public roads, it feels like NORMAL! I wonder if it's because NORMAL is the same NISSIN?
