This bike came in with a cam chain issue and it was diagnosed to be the fault with the cam chain tensioner. The cam chain tensioner was another of the parts I wanted to change on the refresh CRF250 anyway. I found the right one by using the help pages and cross referencing with Honda schematics. The price from Webike was almost a third of the cost of a locally sourced one. It just makes sense to order directly from the origin country really. With a couple of other parts for this refresh in the order, all were shipped using EMS and arrived in tip top condition in 5 days. The tensioner came in the Honda packet and was also wrapped up very well just in case of any knocks during transit. Not particularly anything to look at but the quality from Honda is plain to see. The cast is very good and the material used is strong but flexible. All very good and no flaws on the outsides at all.
