Genuine Honda Rear Piston Seal Set for CB1000R 2011

These were another part that was for a smaller bike I got in from a customer. This time it is the front brake pads for the CB1000R 2013 as the old ones were well beyond their usage. I did not change the front pads on the last service as they were perfectly good and had a lot of use still in them. Usually on this bike, the front need changing twice as often as the rear anyway. Finding the right ones was easy but checking on Honda schematics and then searching for this part number on Webike MT03 model. Luckily, they had a set in their warehouse and so added to my order. EMS shipped my order and all arrived in perfect condition in 7 days from being shipped. Everything was well padded out in the box so there was no damage. These pads are Honda pads and do last quite a while, probably longer than these should have as the customer clearly prefers the front brake to the rear. The pad material is even and looks pretty tasty for a bigger bike to handle. Perhaps not sintered but they do have some heavy compound in them. A few parts needed replacing on this bike due to corrosion of bad salty weather. This hanger pin and the plug pin were not great. We decided to just get both of the parts and replace as just replacing one was a little silly. The hanger pin was not hard to find as I had Honda schematics to check on. After finding the 2 parts needed on Webike website, I ordered these along with a couple of other bits. This saved on shipping and also meant that all the parts I needed, would arrive at the same time. This allows me to get on with the jobs together instead of having to wait for another shipment. The hanger pin arrived and was inside a bubble wrap envelope that Webike warehouse had made. This kept both the plug pin and the hanger pin together for safety and so they would not get lost. The hanger pin is essentially a long bolt which holds into place the brake pads, so essential part. The hanger pin is well machined and even though it is a small bolt, Honda took the time to make sure it was perfect. Easily fitted and torqued to factory spec. Job done, just add the plug pin. The plug pin is essentially a grub screw which protect the hanger pin head from getting messed up. Unfortunately, someone had this plug pin out before and had not seated it correctly which meant salt and other road debris had made it's way inside. These things happen. The plug pin is well machined and even though it is a tiny part, Honda took the time to make it right. This is a brake pad set for a bike that came in. For this reason, as this has already had many pad changes, the customer wanted to keep it standard and stay with the OEM set up for both front and rear pads. Finding the right parts for the job was not tricky as I use Webike help pages and cross reference with Honda schematics to make doubly sure. These pads were pretty good value for OEM ones and less than could be sourced locally. I usually have a few other parts ready to ship so this keeps the cost of shipping down. As this was part of a larger brake pad order the price was right. My order arrived via EMS in 5 days from shipping which you simply cannot argue about. My order was well packaged and the pads also came in the standard Honda plastic pack. The pads are not really anything special but they do need to be up for the task. One of the hanger pins on this bike was problematic and the cause was that someone had cross threaded it when they were doing some kind of maintenance. There was no simple and easy fix apart from just buying a new one. Simple as that. Finding the right pin was straight forward by checking Honda schematics. The schematics showed the right one and this was then searched for on Webike. Webike price was far better than I could source from my local Honda dealer. You do need 2 of these and even though one was perfectly ok, I decided to just buy 2 at this price. With a few other small parts, I had the entire order shipped using EMS. In just 7 days from being shipped, my order arrived. The pin hangers arrived in a the usual Honda packaging but also inside a bubble wrap envelope that Webike had provided. This meant the threaded sections would no get any damage during transit. The pin hangers a re very well machined and look to be top quality from Honda. The dimensions are the exact same as the one that is pretty good condition. The threaded sections are smooth and clean from any debris. Fitting is just a simple bolt in. This was the oil seals for the front wheel the YZF-R3 ABS 2020 which also needed new front wheel bearings and spacer bearing. I do always replace the oil seals when it comes to any bearings where possible for my own peace of mind. It just makes sense to do this. Finding the right oil seal was easy as I already had the schematic open for the front wheel bearings anyway. The price for the new seals was great value. At this price is was silly not to get them. With the other parts needed for this replacement, I had all the order shipped using EMS which are my chosen and trusted courier. My order arrived in 100% perfect condition in 7 days from being shipped. The oil seals came in the standard Yamaha packets and were also inside a nicely made bubble wrap envelope by Webike warehouse to keep them safe. The oil seals are pretty rigid if I am honest but that is not a bad thing. They are top quality oil seals which you expect from such a well respected manufacturer like Yamaha. The second of the replacement brackets for the YZF-R1 2020. The original one was not too bad but as I was replacing all the other brackets for the fairing, I wanted to make sure there was no issues with fitting. Not a big deal but I did want to replace it for one that will hold the fairing well. Finding the right part was easy using the tools Webike provide and cross referencing with Yamaha schematics. The cost was very good value and less than half the cost of buying locally. With some other parts for the R1, I had EMS ship them all together so I would get them all at the same time. In 7 days the order arrived and the parts were perfectly wrapped and kept safe. The bracket itself is aluminium but that does not mean it is not strong, I could barely flex it at all which is good. The bends are all correct and align with the fairing and the engine side. Simple to fit but worth the effort knowing the fairing will stay where it is supposed to . The water pump had been broken on this YFZ-R6 and needed to be replaced. There were options for aftermarket ones but for the price Webike had, why would you go for anything else. The part was not hard to find as I use Yamaha schematics to track down the correct part number. Webike did have 2 in stock and ready to ship out the next day. I chose EMS and the order was delivered to my door in 7 days from being shipped. The water pump was packaged really well by Webike and there was no damage sustained. The pump itself is a very well cast part, the mount points are perfect, even the inside of the cover is perfect. There were no shards or extra flecks of metal to be seen. Yamaha really do take good care of products when they are removed from the casts. I already purchased a new water pump gasket from Webike at the same time. This made the entire job easier and quicker to do. No pint in only having the new water pump if you do not have a gasket to fit. The quality of this water pump is excellent, I honestly could not ask for any better. The installation along with the gasket took a little over an hour.
