This was my first experience purchasing and installing a motorcycle exhaust systemSHIPPING: I ordered the system on 5/31 in the evening PST. It arrived on 6/4 in Scotts Valley CA via free regular postal service. It cleared customs with no problems and there was no extra fees or taxes charged. It was carefully and thoroughly packaged and arrived complete and undamaged.INTALLATION: The system is very easy to install, and although the instructions are in Japanese (just as Webike had warned) I was able to complete the installation by following the diagrams. I searched but was unable to find any english version of these instructions.FIT AND FINISH:The blue titanium covering on the muffler is a finish that must be seen in person. Even the flashy video on Yoshimuras website doesn't do it justice. It will blow you away when you unwrap it after opening the box, but once you see it on the bike, you'll know you made the right choice. On the other hand, like I said, I have no experience with other exhausts, so take this review at face value! The bracket assembly that attaches the muffler to the rear master cylinder mount is well designed, machined, and its instructions are well illustrated.SOUND:I was looking for something that sounded nice, but was about the same level as stock. The R-77S delivers exactly that with a nice low rumble at idle and powerful, responsive sound that goes nicely with...PERFORMANCE:Before hooking up my PC5V and WB2, I ran it stock with the only other mod being a Chimera CAI. It had a noticeable performance increase, especially accelerating from 35 to 55, but nothing significant off the line. After hooking the controllers and simulated open loop signal there was a ignificant increase in mower, especially going uphill.FIT and FINISJ:The blue taitanium finish on the muffler is a sight to behold when you first unwrap it. It must be seen in person to really appreciate its beauty. Pictures and videos don't do it justice. From the poished mirror finsh stainless to the decoration on the springs, it is truly a work of art. The fit is a different story. The stainless steel band that wraps around the muffler and attaches it to the rear MC appears to be a little bit long resulting in a gap between it and the silencer (see pictures) Re positioning the band only changes the location of the gap, and it seems to me that it was sized just slightly to big. It's a real shame to see such a glaring defect on an otherwise meticulously crafted product, and if Yoshimura addresses and repairs this problem, I will gladly pay for a replacement part. The band is made from thick stainless, and I did not attempt an adjustment, or even know that I am capable of altering the part effectively.Overall, I would recommend this product, and would give it 5 stars had it not been for the defective band

The YOSHIMURA Machine Bent R-77S Cyclone Carbon End EXPORT SPEC TYPE Down Full Exhaust System for the GROM looks really cool and tucks in close to the Grom despite the large R-77S muffler. The Stainless Steel engine pipe has some machine vice marks at the sweep around mid section. All the welds are excellent and make the exhaust look custom made. With basic skills and tools the R-77S takes time but is easy to fit. The Black Magic Metal version muffler looks like carbon fiber yet heats up like metal, it has a deep throaty sound at an idle. As the revs rise the sound decreases to standard Honda levels. A 4500 RPM it's so quite you think you have the standard Honda Exhaust back on. I removed a YOSHIMURA RS-2 Race full exhaust who's sound is obnoxious around town and fitted the R-77S EXPORT SPEC because I wanted peace and quiet. I got quiet at the expense of performance, I found my GROM engine struggles (with R-77S fitted) to rev above 5000 RPM just like with the standard Honda exhaust. With it's great design the R-77S EXPORT SPEC exhaust it is easy to tune and this feature makes it just right for street use.View Detail

The first thing I felt was the change in sound, the Titaniumium blue's premium feel and the bass sound quality makes the Grom look like a 1Rank higher motorcycle, it's a good product.

The first thing that came to mind with the Exhaust System replacement was Yoshimura
Large satisfaction with the safety and stability of the product
The design and sound quality are both very convincing I chose Titaniumium blue and I fell in love with its color
You'll be surprised at the weight of the Normal muffler you replaced, and it will be much lighter
In many ways, this product makes senseView Detail
